I’m deeply disgusted by the police violence our unhoused neighbors at the Near North encampment experienced this morning.

MPD continues to evict and brutalize Black, brown and Native folks on stolen land.

Today I am grieving with our Asian American neighbors. I condemn anti-Asian hate crimes and I know this is not an isolated attack. I am committed to working with the Asian American community as we fight for our shared goal of liberation to end all forms of violence.
