The ICE-involved shooting in Marble Hill is horrifying and unacceptable. New Yorkers deserve safety, not fear and violence in their own neighborhoods. We need a full investigation and accountability. It is time to get ICE out of our communities.
Abolish ICE.
We’re finally ready to turn the page on the corruption and incompetence that has been a part of the BK Dems for years.
It’s time for change and @JulioPenaNY is the right person for the job. Excited for the future of our party and ready to get to work.
Hey, @VickieforNYC, quick question.
Since when is being an educator for more than 20 years not an “actual job”? I’m sure the teachers in your district would disagree.
We already knew that you don’t care about working families in NYC, but thanks for confirming.
Correct. People have NO IDEA how much of our city government is now run by literal children who’ve never held a job.
It’s not just Zohran. He’s just the most prominent.
Everyone in that picture is an elected official in NYC and not one of them has ever had an actual job, or any real life experience for that matter. And most of them are rich kids also.
These comments are simply rooted in racism, hatred and bigotry. Mayor Mamdani is the Mayor of New York City and he should be in attendance.
We do not build bridges through bigotry but rather through collaboration, understanding, & a shared commitment to one another.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he will attend Friday’s ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, despite criticism from former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who said Mamdani’s presence at Ground Zero would offend him. Mamdani declined to respond further to Giuliani’s comments, saying his focus will be on the families who lost loved ones and the first responders who gave everything to the city. “I love this city. I love this country,” Mamdani told reporters.
Donald Trump is a cruel, vile and inhumane man occupying the White House. 🚮
He can try to dehumanize who are as Haitians with his videos but we will not be intimidated.
Haiti TPS has been TERMINATED.
Those with terminated TPS are in our nation Illegally. They have two options: LEAVE IMMEDIATELY or be DEPORTED.

🧵:While NY-13 is a bit away from Brooklyn, the anti-Black and anti-Haitian remarks directed at Darializa is unjust. It is no secret that there is anti- Haitian discrimination in the Dominican Republic, but we must reject this hatred in every possible way we can.
A failure to condemn this vile & hateful rhetoric is a missed opportunity to stand against hate towards Haitians. As a proud Haitian American elected official, I know the important history of Haitian heritage in the Dominican Republic and across our globe.
From his work as a labor organizer to his time as Council Member & Borough President, @ReynosoBrooklyn has worked tirelessly to make life better for everyone in NY-07 and beyond.

I’m running for New York State Assembly‼️
I’m the son of a union nurse and a taxi driver who immigrated to New York in search of the American Dream — and I’m running to take on the cost-of-living crisis that’s kept that dream out of reach for working families.
