Can we normalize talking about how there’s two classes of people in STEM
1) Those who had a parent or close relative with a STEM degree and
2) Those that did not
That literally makes so much of a difference
@aaron_russell@IET_IOTTN @cosmocaitt Ya, I think this is a very valid point to bring out the parental influence in STEM and how this may impact the social mobility.
Recently bought this @NatGeo tripod from @AmazonUK for a last minute project. I know it's a beginner level product but I totally didn't expect to see plastic bits coming off from the leg locks like this😂🧹🧹🧹needa clean up my floor now btw
@mich181189@Apple@AppleSupport :'( I've got my first MBP from 2008 and it is still working to date (despite the battery is a bit meh :/ but can't blame a 12 years old battery) I bought this 13" MBP for an oversea work trip in 2018 and it was now showing a sign of death....
That burn-in on my @Apple MBP13"😨and I just started it for like 20mins and after some googling, seems this is an universal issue for many users and @AppleSupport will charge £400+ for a screen replacement (and it doesn't guarante the burn-in must go away)😭😭😭😭😭
My FB page has recently been restricted🙄becoz one of my posts was flagged. It's just a bread recipe. I'm not sure how it can violate FB's community rules, apparently a bread can be pretty offensive these days. I just re-posted the bread pic anyway🤡 #rant
