@JoeMullinax I like Herb quite a bit, price is steep but thats what they would get for him. I do think timeline wise like you said probably content to let this young core develop, Isaiah stewart pickup was a great get imo. This team has edge
@JoeMullinax Right. Best deal I have seen in theory. I'm not super high on JB, but thats what it would take to get someone like him probably. Think it's more likely we see a Trae return, albeit Kleiman seems to be stuck at the table
Just in: The Detroit Pistons are trading C/F Isaiah Stewart to the Memphis Grizzlies for three future second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. Pistons clear Stewart's salary and pick up assets while Grizzlies acquire a 25-year-old as a rugged frontcourt piece.
I only spent 2 days in Memphis, but it was enough to see that LeBron was right - partially.
If you’re a star after the glitz, the glamor, the lipsticked pig - Memphis isn’t for you.
Memphis is real. The people are real. It’s for the hard workers. The grit and grind.

I absolutely hate big cities. Can’t stand the people and their rudeness, the quickness of life, the loudness of it - (all ironic since I work corporate). As soon as I stepped foot in Memphis, I felt welcomed. People wave at you like a small country, put their heart and soul into the food, and I never ran into a single problem.
My girlfriend (probably fiancée if I visit this city again) found everyone delightful. Even moreso than Richmond, Charlottesville, Tulsa, or Springdale. She dropped a pecan pie and was given a second one on the spot - no extra pricing.
There were so many things, in about 48 hours, that made me love this city. I’m ignorant to the inner politics, to XAI, or any of that.
But as someone who hates cities, I love Memphis. Because of this experience, I will always love Memphis.
So yeah. LeBron won’t like it cause memphians wouldn’t blow smoke up his ass - yall were asking Dillon Brooks to pass it in a food line 😂 but the players and stars who keep it real? They’ll love it just as much as I do.
Memphis is genuine and it seems to appreciate genuine.
