Seniors are a key part of septa's ridership and I totally understand that frequency isn't as important to them. But for so many people in working class jobs frequency and reliability determine whether or not they remain employed or if they'll be willing to rely on transit.
We’re excited to announce a new integration between @VontasTech, Swiftly, and @transitapp that allows information to flow seamlessly between the three platforms to give riders accurate and accessible updates during ad hoc changes to service. Read more: https://t.co/VGb2RYbk9F
@TwitterDev @TwitterSupport We recently subscribed to the Basic API tier and migrated our app (which sends alerts on behalf of transit agencies) to the v2 API. Around 5PM today, our app was suspended without notification. Can you please tell us how we can appeal the suspension?
We must shift to #publictransport, then electrify.

Inspired by @Danielhep, here's a map to help navigate the Link service disruption on Oct. 22-26. The 1 Line will be shut down between Rainier Beach and Tukwila International Boulevard stations but a free shuttle will be available. Please plan ahead: https://t.co/ahjxgMNZrT
According to the @ArcadisGlobal Sustainable Cities Index, these are the top 10 with regard to the planet, people and profit. Though this likely only opens up a further debate about measuring a city’s green agenda...

I made a little thing for myself for seeing the next bus/train times near my apartment. What do you think? Would this be useful for you? I was going to put it on a spare monitor and mount to my wall. (Will *not* work on mobile)

Also, it's going to be essential that @SoundTransit provide updated GTFS feeds to trip planning apps during this disruption. Having good information is itself a mitigation method, and a critical one, especially with 20 minute service. (A PDF schedule is not enough!)
Love this tweet from FTA. Brings together two of my passions/obsessions #transit and #football (especially the World Cup)!
Sidenote: I am struck by how many of these agencies we at IBI Group work with to improve their services and passenger information. Going to be a busy 2026!
This is a @DavidZipper appreciation post. His combination of wonkishness and moral outrage in reported arguments is something I'd like to find on all subject matters, not just urban mobility and traffic safety.
