If the goal, as the PM keeps saying, is women's empowerment and nothing else, then here's a plan:
181 of 543 seats reserved for women in next Lok Sabha.
Done.
Everything else in the constitutional amendment has nothing to do with women's empowerment.
It's just politician enrichment.

When I think of Lok Sabha strength being increased from 543 to 850, my first thought is not smaller constituencies, more responsive representatives, and all that.
It is - 307 more VIPs. That many more entitled rulers, free tickets, perks, security, expense, sigh.
