Agreed that they are 20-25 runs short but I am surprised that you don't even mentions good bowling spells. I hope you must have seen bowling and would have noticed that how efficiently kkr bowlers used slower deliveries and to deceive the batsman and eventually they got result.

KKR have made a comeback, courtesy the Sarfaraz-Brevis partnership that not only got the CSK scoring rate to dip it also delayed the arrival of Shivam Dube. How can Dube, one of India’s T20 stars and someone Dhoni used so well get lesser deliveries than what ought to be. At one point CSK looked like getting 215-220 but they’ve fallen way short. Maybe the pitch has slowed down but these 20-25 missed runs are critical

It's not necessary to score in the 90s or 80s. Conditions are different too. In the end results matters. A decent PP without giving a wicket lays the foundation for the big score like 210-220 as well. Ppl are obsessed with blind slogging rather than analysing the actual gameplay.

Decent start from CSK compared to the previous games. But 61 in the powerplay is not great when teams are scoring in the nineties and hundreds in that period. And while Samson played his part batting at over 200, Ruturaj finished at less than a 100 strike rate in 18 balls.
The power play game has changed thanks to the likes of RR, PBKS and SRH.

Both Lungi Ngidi and Mukesh Kumar executed their yorkers extremely well. They didn't allow batsman to free their arms. It doesn't mean that every ball is meant to be hit. Bowlers too know how to execute their plans.

CSK at one stage were 160-1 in 15. They had Shivam Dube and Brevis sitting in the dugout. Thought they could have gotten to at least 225-230 but they finished just 212, which means they added 52 only in the last 5. That’s where teams and batsmen need to perhaps attack every possible delivery rather than wanting to bat till the end.

You can question Nehra's response but DK was a horrible keeper at times. Remember him missing some important stumping chances that later proved costly to us. Asia Cup 2014 game, Sanga missed stumping immediately comes to my mind

Agreed with him. Boundaries with 55-60 metres length makes no sense. Just a top edge goes for six. There is no competition for bowlers at all. Pitches also needs to be made tough in order to keep even gameplay for both bowlers and batters.
