@mollyfleck I thought traffic injuries and deaths in Seattle has been increasing? But to be honest, we also have no enforcement of speed limits or traffic calming. The only thing that has effectively reduced speeds here is traffic jams.

@chrisvammen@seattledot Removing parking isn’t an economic disaster for small businesses. Look at Ascent Outdoors, which experienced a decline in business after moving from walkable downtown Ballard with no parking to Interbay with dedicated parking.
@wsdot On the 520 project, are there plans to widen the new hairpin turn on the ramp from the Montlake sidewalk to the Bill Dawson trail? It’s very hard to make the turn on a bike as-is. And are there plans for more crosswalks across Montlake?
