Coaches should have more knowledge of concussions. If athletes weren't afraid of losing their positions, they would report injuries. We need to update these rules so athletes can receive proper treatment. #ucr150 @ElissaMMonteiro

@oshirley5 @ElissaMMonteiro Yeah! If there was a higher percent of colleges in compliance, I think we would see more equality between men and women athletes. This would allow women to be compensated and awarded the same as men athletes. @ElissaMMonteiro

Title IX seems like it needs some updating because we continue to see men's sports above women's sports. 80% in non-compliance with this law seems like it is not effective in any way. We must increase equality. @ElissaMMonteiro #ucr150

We continue to see how the institutions protect themselves first before their athletes. These non-negotiable contracts strip athletes from pursuing higher education and we continue seeing coaches having full control of athletes. #ucr150 @ElissaMMonteiro

The NCAA only cares about protecting their image even though they are harming college athletes. The NCAA makes billions in profit and keeps it instead of helping. They are exploiting college students and aren't providing the right amount of scholarships. #ucr150 @ElissaMMonteiro
