@nfern019 @edavidsonhed This is so true and many do not understand that only a small portion of student-athletes go professional, while others may be left wondering the next steps to life.

Student-athletes face a insurmountable amount of pressure that is placed on them; while being grossly misrepresented and understood! More needs to be done to fix this! @edavidsonhed #ucr50

@nfern019 @edavidsonhed I agree the pressure that student-athletes feel is completely irrational. While giving them scholarships such as this one will completely change everything. #ucr50 @edavidsonhed
Student-athletes face major hurdles, although the pay for play module and the litigation between the NCAA should change everything. #ucr150 @edavidsonhed

@nfern019 @edavidsonhed This is so crucial in creating equality in spaces that inequality substantially does not exist. Creating change and providing adequate coverage on this topic is crucial. #ucr50 @edavidsonhed
Title IX was a crucial law that was detrimental in establishing protections against women; although the law is ineffective if schools do not abide by these rules. Change must happen. #ucr50 @edavidsonhed https://t.co/v97FmbOBag
@MartinH2022 @edavidsonhed I completely agree, this is quintessential to understanding and creating environments that provide awareness in intercollegiate athletics.
@edavidsonhed #ucr50
Athletic environments are essential in creating diverse environments for athletes; faculty at schools should be aware and cognizant of the impact that they can have on students. @edavidsonhed #ucr50

@nfern019 @edavidsonhed The stereotypes that student-athletes face are horrendous, as they definitely are overworked and not paid. I completely agree that it is time for student-athletes to normalize caring for their education.

It is essential that organizational culture and organizational climate are intertwined in order for administrators to see the effects that it has on students. #ucr50 @edavidsonhed

@tenzchoeying @edavidsonhed I completely agree, it is pertinent that student-athletes are provided with the necessary resources to assist with mental health. This is what all schools need as a plus for their athletes to become successful! #educ50 @edavidsonhed
College athletes have made remarkable strides toward their overall goals of completing their college degrees while also balancing their academic, social, and athletic lives. @edavidsonhed #ucr50
@PatriceGarro @edavidsonhed I definitely agree with you, it is disheartening to see many student-athletes go without basic necessities; although coaches are being paid an insurmountable amount of money. @edavidsonhed #ucr50
Student-athletes are put into a hard position of figuring out if their program will continue or be discontinued because of funding. This should not be the case and funds should be allocated properly. @edavidsonhed #UCR50
@moanapisia8 @edavidsonhed I completely agree; student-athletes should be recognized for the hard work that they put into their sport and should be given the proper respect that they deserve. @edavidsonhed #ucr50
I am impressed with the history of inclusion from the University of Pennsylvania, and their continuous work to implement inclusionary techniques!

@kpric006 @ElissaMMonteiro Your tweet is spot on and disgraceful that the NCAA and colleges can profit from athletes, although leave them in the sun to rot after their contracts end or a injury happens. The NCAA should do better but they wont until enough noise is made! @ElissaMMonteiro#ucr150
Student athletes should be offered more than spending 40 hours of their time to not have any incentives. Creating pathways for the school to make money without having any wages themselves is one way for athletes to put schooling on the back-burner.
@ElissaMMonteiro#ucr150
@kpric006 @ElissaMMonteiro It is very shocking and disturbing to see how the NCAA has defended and contributed to the demeaning of athletes. It truly is disturbing to read the comments that the NCAA has contributed to the demise of athletes.
@ElissaMMonteiro#ucr150
The NCAA has been sued for an insurmountable amount of money; although they refuse to compensate their student athletes which is a disgrace.
