I am deeply honored and grateful to receive the endorsement of the Movimiento Victoria Ciudadana (MVC) Diaspora Network.

My involvement with MVC has always been rooted in a simple belief: our communities deserve a voice, whether we live on the island or in the diaspora. As a Puerto Rican raised on the Lower East Side, I know that our struggles, our culture, and our future are deeply connected across borders.

I got involved because MVC represents values that resonate with me: self-determination, democracy, transparency, social justice, and the belief that ordinary people should have power over the decisions that shape their lives. These are the same values that have guided my work as an organizer, advocate, and candidate.

The Puerto Rican diaspora has a responsibility not only to celebrate our culture, but to stand in solidarity with the people of Puerto Rico in the fight for dignity, economic justice, and a future free from austerity and displacement.

This endorsement means so much because it comes from people who believe in building a different kind of politics, one that is accountable to community, not political machines; one that values participation over exclusion; and one that understands that real change comes from the ground up.

Thank you to the @mvcdiaspora for your trust, your partnership, and your commitment to a better future for Puerto Ricans everywhere. Together, we will continue building bridges between our communities and fighting for justice on both sides of the water.

El atleta puertorriqueño Ayden Owens Delerme escribió una nueva página en la historia del deporte nacional al conquistar la medalla de plata en el decatlón del Mundial de Atletismo celebrado en Tokio.

Owens Delerme acumuló un total de 8,784 puntos tras completar los diez eventos, quedando a solo 20 puntos del campeón mundial, el alemán Leo Neugebauer, quien finalizó con 8,804 puntos.

El boricua brilló al ganar los eventos de 100 metros lisos, 110 metros con vallas y 400 metros lisos, además de lograr el segundo lugar en los 1,500 metros.
