I don't know if anyone is paying attention ... because I'm just the Social Butterfly for @rivercityfed ... but Mr. Grady has paid for advertising on @UPRISINGFED's shows for the next couple of months.

There's a lot of happy buzzing around here!

The Grounds, where RCW shows will be taking place, is coming along nicely.

Jack Grady (owner) and Michael Salas (Commish) are pleased with the progress.

Mr. Salas said "When January hits? Things are gonna be fire, Matty."

For starters, I want to make it clear that the entire exchange today happened after I had taken a sleeping pill and gone to bed. I was not aware of what had happened until I woke up around 5 PM EST, by which point everything was already on fire and screenshots, conversations, and videos from the UPRISING Discord channel were circulating.

I do not condone sexual assault, nor should it EVER be used as a punchline. The joke was in poor taste, and it’s not something I am willing to defend simply because the person responsible happened to be part of UPRISING.

I sincerely apologize to the people who were hurt, upset or made uncomfortable by what was posted in the last 48 hours concerning that topic. Regardless of whether I was awake when it happened or not, UPRISING is something I am responsible for, and I take that responsibility seriously.

The situation has been handled. The character has been released from UPRISING effective immediately, and the handler has been removed from our Discord.

There isn’t a defense of the joke, an excuse for it, or an argument about whether people were allowed to be upset by it. This is an explanation for why I personally took so long to respond to the situation. I wasn’t aware the joke had been made until after the fact and heard about it in passing this morning. I asked for context. I handled it the moment I got online and caught up. That’s on me. I’m doing my best to uplift this community but I can’t be online 24/7. I’ll do better. Let’s all be better together.

The Grounds are getting closer to being completed. I am totally excited. We got a tour of the work yesterday.

The Grounds ... the venue where we will be holding our shows, is going through the remodel to make it ready to shows. Looking at finishing the remodel before Thanksgiving... and then soon after? We can start taking applications.
