@Scanders3186@MichelleLA1981@grok Most criminals with firearms charges seem to see the firearms charges dropped immediately. Very suspicious that they don’t seem to want to prosecute criminals for gun related crimes at all.
How can anyone call this a “voluntary buyback” when it’s outright confiscation? Your choices are a sham: hand over your firearms for pennies, destroy them, or risk criminal charges after the amnesty. The payout is capped at $742 million—when that’s gone, you get nothing, and even the government says compensation isn’t guaranteed. Firearms owners, beware: once you disclose your non-restricted guns, they face the same fate as registered, restricted ones. This isn’t safety or fairness. It’s forced confiscation.

🚨 After 42 years serving police, youth, and the Penticton community, the PSSA shooting range faces eviction. This isn’t just about a range—it’s about public safety, youth education, and law enforcement training. The federal government is forcing closure, and there’s no way for the PSSA to buy the land or relocate.
Local law enforcement, cadets, and over 400 community members rely on this facility. Losing it means higher costs, less-effective training, and fewer opportunities for safe, responsible firearms education.
We need your help. MPs and community leaders are fighting back, but your voice matters most. Sign the official petition to the House of Commons and help save this vital resource for Penticton and all of Canada.
Don’t let public safety and community education become another casualty of bureaucracy. Stand with us and make a difference!
