@Fayrestorm@sabreenaGS So I ask plain and simple, when one is removed from their land….how long does it take for their descendants to no longer be indigenous to that land?
@Fayrestorm@sabreenaGS Ok so then one must ask and then define when does one lose indigeneity. Are the grandchildren of the Palestinians that were kicked out during the nakba growing up in Lebanon and Jordan, Lebanese and Jordanian or Palestinian? Jews got expelled, when did it become not their land?
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko I am not a religious Jew most Jews don’t really care about the concept of a messiah that is more like orthodox and hardliners. Most western liberal Judaism is focused more on the concept of Tikkun Olam. Look it up
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko There was always some jewish presence even the crusaders recorded presence of jewish people living in Jerusalem but they consisted no more than 2% of the population during those times. The Roman’s didn’t manage to kick everyone out
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko And that was before the Mizrahi Jews emigrated. If the Arab world loved their Jews so much how come there are 500,000 Iraqi Jews in Israel and 5 at most left in Iraq. This is the problem with Jews everywhere they are only accepted if they are a model minority that does as told
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko Or if you would like to talk about backstabbing, how come the entire Arab world seemingly overnight, revoked citizenship, rights, and the rate of freedom of movement as soon as Zionists declared their state nearly the entire Arab world turned their backs on their Jews
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko First of all let’s stop this You did this you did that I am an American I have zero connection to Israel and my entire family lives in America we’re full blooded American Jews. I am well aware of the protection the Muslim world particularly the ottomans provided
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko It wasn’t an empty piece of land that’s the same lie the so called Zionists that you hate use. There were people living on that land. If you don’t care about that being built on top of something that was destroyed 700 years prior, you should have no issue with the settlements.
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko Al Aqsa is an interesting case because I’m sure you’re aware of the fact of Al Aqsa being built on top of the remains of the 2nd holy temple of Judaism. I’m not religiously or ideologically jewish or a supremacist in any capacity but it’s the Muslims that built on a Jewish site
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko I mean you can have a Muslim in Indonesia raised to hate Jews because that’s what they’re told in regards to the holy war of Jews taking Muslim land or whatever. Jew hatred is very much taught
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko I must also say “Talmudic” is nearly as much of a dogwhistle of nothingness the way you probably see “antisemitism” as a dogwhistle. The Talmud isn’t a book of laws that Jews follow, the phrase is Rabbinical Judaism. And I would also argue the people hating Jews today is Learned
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko Once again I am an American Jew not an Israeli, the topic at hand here is “does antisemitism and hate crimes against Jews exist” which unequivocally yes it does exist, just because you have a ideological tilt to the other side does not negate the existence of hatred of Jews
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko You’re accusing me of being a zionist when I’ve already explicitly said I am an American Jew who is anti Israel specifically Israeli government and who believes in the indigenous historical connection that the Jewish people have to that piece of land.
@Sami89Pali@RabbiPoupko Stay on topic? This is exactly on topic. I’m saying antisemitism is a real thing as you have been exhibiting throughout this entire exchange lmao. You and I are not the same. You have hatred in your heart. I have love in my heart. I hope one day you get over your hate of Jews.
