Terry McLaurin looks at the ref asking if he’s good - ref points back at McLaurin as of to indicate he’s good. McLaurin then gives a thumbs up to ref to acknowledge it. This “penalty” took a Brian Robinson TD off the board. Via @SNFonNBC

Rest in Peace Mr Gaylord and prayers to his family. Met him once for an autograph when I was young and once when I was the head baseball coach. His advice was to coach em the same way I was coached. Said it’s probably harder to do that now but don’t change the Williamston Way!
it’s the coaches fault they miss school. it’s the coaches fault they don’t turn in their school work. it’s the coaches fault their student’s behavior is unacceptable! So obviously it’s the coaches fault when they don’t play🤔
Players will come to school on game day, but miss school on days they have practice. The sad part is, parents support that mess. Parents want to set up meetings with the Coach and principal because of playing time, but not over their child's grades. Sad time we live in.
I remember growing up and playing ball against the older dudes and uncles, and they use to talk straight smack to us younger guys, while they whooped us. It taught us how to dig deep and play through the voices. I'm instilling that in my young boys in middle school. I ❤️ them!
High school football players, if you're a skill position, run track. If you're a lineman, throw the shot or discuss. If you're a LB or TE find an event and go compete in track & field. You will become physically & mentally stronger. The good track coaches will put you to WORK.
