The first girl is roleplaying. Both of them are red flag by default. A good Nigerian woman doesn't exist, just bad Nigerian women everywhere roleplaying.
1. Umahi. 2. Soludo. 3. Otti. 4. Obi
Here’s why: I based my selection on their public sector experience as they have all served.
1. Umahi was governor of Ebonyi and now Minister of Works. I see first hand his “doings” as minister and heard great things when he was a governor.
2. Soludo was central bank governor and now governor of Anambra state. He did very well as CBN governor. As Anambra governor, I’m hearing mixed reviews.
3. Otti is the Governor of Abia state but has only been in office for less than a full term. I heard great things but I can’t confirm first hand.
4. Obi was Governor of Anambra state for 8 years. Based on commentary AT THAT TIME (still online), it seems things were one kain.
But hey. My personal opinion.
My wife was due on July 1st, but life had other plans.
Last week, she asked me what I wanted for Father’s Day. I told her, “The best gift would be for our son to arrive on Father’s Day so I could celebrate being a father and celebrate his birthday on the same day every year.”
Today, that wish became reality. At 11:59pm,
I officially became a father on Father’s Day.
Happy Father’s Day to me, and happy birthday to my son. This will be a day I’ll never forget. ❤️👶🏽🎂🎉
Signs that an empire is collapsing usually emerge gradually rather than in one dramatic moment. Beyond unrepaired roads and decaying infrastructure, watch for currency debasement driving inflation, collapsing long-distance trade, overstretched armies losing border control, rising political corruption and fragmentation, shrinking public services, and growing reliance on outsiders for defense or labor. Daily life for most people changes slowly at first, with the full scale of transformation only clear in hindsight. The Roman example unfolded over centuries.
Abubakar Shekau’s fanaticism thrived like wildfire in the Sambisa Forest Reserve. His dramatic reign ended abruptly, but the scars of his terror still linger.
This is how he lived.
