@BadCustSvc101@PerpetualWinger I have no idea what you're talking about but you sound very lacking in empathy. And if you think I'm a minimiser of any sort you couldn't be more wrong.
@BadCustSvc101@PerpetualWinger I thought you were suggesting that parents can't talk about finding it difficult, or their kids finding it difficult & that if they do, their parenting skills are shit? I was suggesting it's not that simple.
@BadCustSvc101@PerpetualWinger I agree that the 'lockdowns damaged children' narrative is overdone, but your judgement of parents feels dismissive. I can tell you I still haven't recovered from months of sole parenting, self employment & home educating is isolation from all supports.
@dgurdasani1 Thanks for sharing yr perspective Deepti. Totally agree about access to the outdoors. Great to hear you've found a school that's on board - school practices are so inconsistent.
@dgurdasani1 How are you finding Australia by comparison? As a local it seems pretty bad to me but perhaps I don't have sufficient understanding of the situation in the UK.
@JasonClareMP 'Lingering after effects of covid'? Our kids are still being exposed to unmitigated spread of infections every day at school. I was definitely not relieved to be sending my child back. #CovidIsntOver#CleanAir
