@TomMolinaro3 @jakeshieldsajj Read Romans chapter 1:15-32
It describes what you're talking about. But don't stop there. I prayerfully suggest you should spend another 5 minutes and read 6:23; 10:9-13 & 5:8 of the same book. You're right in that you don't need religion.
@AdamtheDurden @JBSOF96@jakeshieldsajj They crucified Him last I heard.He willingly went to the cross to lay down His life for our sins.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine...and I lay down my life for the sheep. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself...
Jn 10:14-15, 18
@TheiCookSlug@ThatChristyChic@jakeshieldsajj He is Holy. He forgives because He is love. He judges righteously against sin because He is Holy. He can no more violate His law of sin, than His law of gravity. It isn't a whim, it's His very being and nature.
Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:9-13; 5:8; Hebrews 9:22; Ephesians 2:8,9
@jakeshieldsajj Christian.
John 6:67-69
Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
John 6:63-69 KJV
@Aliphaire@ksorbs @postmodern_mum Whether you believe in Jesus Christ or not, doesn't change the fact that He died for our sins, so we could be restored to fellowship with God and not die before going to Hell.
Murder is still murder.
@JimboSweets@ksorbs An abortion is killing also.
But it's worse, because the murder is a helpless child. At least in some gun killing situations, people are able to defend themselves. God loves you and the unborn children more than you know. βοΈ
@claircolette1 @littledeekay They murder themselves. They commit suicide. Cancer isn't chosen and isn't an act, but a disease. Suicide is a selfish choice without regards to needs or impact it has on others.
@RaleighMonitor@Justswim60@littledeekay Cancer patients have no choice. Suicidal people do, and they selfishly choose for themselves rather than considering the needs/impact on anyone else. It's the epitome of selfishness.
@littledeekay Jesus, the Son of the only true God, loved you and I enough to die in our place so that we could be free from our sin. His love is unconditionally offered to all that accept Him.
@HomseyTara Love your post from 17 hours prior to this post.
Sorry you're on a roller coaster right now.
God is faithful and His love is constant, unconditional. βοΈπ
@stowell_miranda Lifting your situation, your fears and your needs before the Throne of Grace.
God is Faithful! He is very near to those who call upon His great name! βοΈπ
