The military junta have carried out extrajudicial executions in Myanmar, including Zayar Thaw, a young MP I met when he visited my constituency as part of an IPU delegation in 2012.
These killings must be globally condemned and those responsible brought to justice.
The military council that illegally seized power today sentenced four people, including Phyo Zayar Thaw and Ko Jimmy, to death. There is no justice in our country. The situation in the country is getting worse and worse. Please save us.
