I think one reason for the recent spike in "puriteen" discourse is while Queer representation is making waves in kids' media, there's still no LGBTQ+ history taught in schools & anti-trans groups are spreading misinfo. So teens are taking mass marketable LGBTQ+ content to heart🧵

A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. We found it early. A total hysterectomy should take it out. I’m getting the surgery on Monday.

The moral of this story is that you’ve gotta dig your heels in to make doctors listen. If they still don’t listen, dig them in deeper.
