Ia meninggal setelah ditembak oleh pasukan Israel pada 30 Juni kemarin di jalur Gaza.

Saleem dilaporkan baru menikah 5 bulan, istrinya hamil anak pertama, dan ia sedang mencoba mendapatkan air saat kejadian tersebut terjadi.

Gita to me is quite an unusual idol because she’s really one of the rare ones who don’t overdo things, just like her expressions here. She just does things the way she wants now. She’s been around long enough to have built so much trust that she has the freedom to be that way. It’s like that senior at work who’s done so much and seen everything, so everyone respects her and nobody questions her anymore.

It’s super interesting because then from her you can see an idol who’s about as genuine (within the limits of professionalism, of course) as it gets. She doesn’t love you and she won’t pretend she does. However, you do get the privilege to see her show her honest self.

In a world where everyone else had to pretend in some ways to get attention, that makes her stands out so much. Nobody else has the freedom that she has, and she has nothing left to prove. So at the end we are just here to witness and appreciate Gita as herself.
