@Jenbox360 Yup. People are wayy to fast to go doom and gloom mode. This is PTR. Let's try it first, before jumping to conclusions. Personally, I think the changes look great.
Working as intended, according to who? If they're changing it, it doesn't seem like it was working as intended. Their intent with the new scaling of the endgame with Lord of Hatred was to make the high Torment tiers feel like pinnacle content, and people were still farming Torment 12 day 1 of the expansion. We were dealing way too much damage. The game has been wayyy too easy.
@OfficialDotzy@jekuto320@DiabloFilter The purpose of mythics were defeated as soon as they were craftable and easily accessible. Now they're focused on allowing for build diversity.
They're supposed to be more powerful, but they were TOO powerful, and for as common as they are now, that's not exciting. It just feels mandatory. If they kept their season 0 droprates, it'd make sense. Where it was like finding a winning lottery ticket. But when every build just has to have them because they're easy to get every season? That's so boring.
The Season 14 PTR Preview has been released, and oh my! Mythic Uniques 3.0, Solo Self Found Mode, Realmwalkers Return, and SO much more!

@SteezeOG@whatevereverig Except in Season 14, you can re-roll Uniques in the cube. This game has always been a live service game, and changes from season to season are what helps keep these kind of games alive. If everything stayed the same, people wouldn't keep coming back.
@SteezeOG@whatevereverig The reason they were the only ones being used is because they were so obviously overpowered, that they felt mandatory. That's my point. Builds were stronger than they were supposed to be, because of them. Now people are going to have a ton of new options to build around.
@SteezeOG@whatevereverig This has nothing to do with the current season. Mythics were way too powerful, so it made them feel mandatory in nearly every build. This will promote build diversity.
