The stone-carved graves of Raj Malik preserve remarkable stories of medieval Sindh. One gravestone depicts a cattle-retrieving hero, celebrating courage, honour, and identity in stone.

One of Karachi's earliest stone-carved cemeteries, dating to the 15th century, lies west of Lal Bakhsh Kachelo village in Gadap, Malir. This priceless heritage is rapidly deteriorating. It must be protected before it is lost forever.

Protect it for posterity

I first visited this historic canopy of Bula Khan in Manghopir, Karachi, in 2009. Even then, it showed signs of neglect. Today, it is in shambles. Built in second quarter of 18th century, it commemorates Bula Khan, after whom Thano Bula Khan is named.

Since beginning our campaign I have met whole families that are HIV +

A three year old infected from a blood transfusion at civil hospital with HIV

An eight year old positive girl who lost her six year old brother to AIDS related complications

I saw a man die after being refused life saving Anti-retro Viral therapy from three hospitals.

I have also seen government denial of this crisis, doctors who themselves had a stigma attached to HIV and a complete and utter breakdown of our medical system.

One pill can save a life and ensure a happy life too. #khamoshijurmhai
