It greatly saddens me to see someone accuse me of things I would never do. Making false accusations is a disrespectful choice that cheapens allegations for people that have actually dealt with this kind of abuse. My statement is below.

Mobile Salvage Recycling Stations could add a strong side objective to Marathon without breaking the high-risk, high-reward identity.
It turns loot conversion into something contestable, tense, and very Bungie.
Would love to see this

I have a gameplay idea for @MarathonTheGame that I think fits Bungie’s high-risk extraction identity really well:
Mobile Salvage Recycling Stations.
Instead of Salvage only being something you find, let players convert loot into Salvage during a run. 🧵

What I like about this idea is that it respects the extraction shooter loop.
It does not make resource conversion safer.
It makes it more dangerous, more intentional, and more memorable.
The reward feels earned because the risk is still attached to it.

I think this could create some really strong Marathon moments:
players contesting the station
squads baiting others near it
solo players making desperate conversion runs
tense exfils with recycled Salvage on the line
5/8
That turns recycling from a simple quality-of-life feature into an actual gameplay event.
You are not just pressing a button in a menu.
You are making a risky decision mid-run:
Keep the loot, convert it, or leave the station before another squad shows up?
4/8
At the station, players could recycle valuable loot into Salvage.
But the important part is this:
The Salvage is not secured immediately.
You still have to successfully exfil with it.
3/8
Each map could have one Salvage Recycling Station that spawns randomly at 1 of 10–15 possible locations.
That keeps it from becoming a predictable camp spot, while still creating a valuable objective players can discover, fight over, or avoid.
2/8
The core idea:
Green, blue, purple/pink, and gold-tier loot could be dismantled into Salvage.
But not from a safe menu outside the match.
The conversion should happen inside the run, where the player is still exposed to danger.
@ThourCS2@tafar_17 If you're going for a controll pad, you have to try the type 99 series. I have multiple controll pads and the type 99 XSOFT works for me just fine. Tho I think I would recommend the Soft Variant for the majorty of players because it is easier to track on them.
