@wgallagher31763@IRanMediaco The US can break every international law to serve its national interest. Taking over Venezuela, threatening to take over Greenland, bomb other countries and assasinate, and the list goes on and on! But other countries behave in any similar matter?
It makes total sense that China's developing status within the WTO makes less sense today than it did 25 years ago. This needs to change!
But there are ways of doing this effectively without burning bridges with friends. Future generations of Americans will pay for this madness!
#KenGriffin was an American corporate hero not 3 months ago. Now he is vilified by #DavidSacks as 'talking his book' when he says #DonaldTrump is corroding the US brand.
Who do you agree with?
#DonaldTrump espoused tariffs 40 years ago! The world is so different now than then. He, however, sings the same tune. These blanket tariffs shouted out to the entire world are the sounds and actions of a teenager in a playground.
Who wears the trousers indeed?! #StuartKirk's opinion column in the #WeekendFT calls large company CEOs spineless for not standing up to #Donald's tariff tantrums! I agree!
This was always the alternative to Assad.
Some people were too naive to know it, while others were willing mouthpiece for US empire, but the end result is the same.
#CanadaUSTradeWar has retaliated together with #Chinatradewar. BRAVO! Now, surely, its time for the Europeans to step up and follow suit publicly and stand up against a public war started by the US.

I think I am a political realist most of the time but feel a revulsion to the US administration at present. A few in particular.
When will #JDVance decide to behave like an adult? These are not video games!
@simonkuper's column in the weekend #ft discusses how #trump's stance for Ukraine has surprised Western Europe. Time for some realpolitik, me thinks, and brushing up on its history. Europe has been used to 'balance of power' politics. Interesting implications, though!
@TheBubbleBubble The essential point being the network effect that comes from increasing acceptance of #bitcoin. Competing stores of value would need to get greater network effect to overhaul #bitcoin. Given the first mover advantage and the narrative built up around #bitcoin that is unlikely.
The entirety of the Joe Rogan <> Marc Andreeseen podcast is fascinating, but please, please listen to this part.
The abuse of power within unaccountable (and arguably unconstitutional) federal agencies has become so extreme the stories are almost unbelievable.
