@NicholasCarr@jallen1985@MichaelWatsonMS The body politic of this nation is so hyper-partisan that even the appearance of seeking middle ground is seen as an indication of one being either a RINO or DINO.
Citing the NYPost is like citing Y'all Politics or the Gallo Show.
Here is another nonpartisan Brennan Center voter fraud myth buster:

Election fraud is real. I remain committed to making it as easy as possible to vote in MS, but will always balance that desire with upholding the integrity of the process. https://t.co/NSCqxSnxVm
@jallen1985@NicholasCarr@MichaelWatsonMS Exactly! "Seems" is the operative word. It seems that way right up to asking him to support "no excuse" absentee balloting as a safer voting choice. Then it is all doom and gloom voter fraud narrative.
@jallen1985@ashtonpittman As an open and proud MS/AL Democrat, I've heard this kind of stuff my whole life. I try not to take the bait usually. Especially when it comes from someone like Michael, who I have known and worked with for more than half of my life.
Of course it is from the esteemed NYPost.
I bet they didn't talk about the voter fraud myths spelled out by the nonpartisan Brennan Center, as the data used is counter to their false narrative.
Read the facts on Lucien's false narrative for yourself:

@DickScruggs Had many dealings with Prince when I was AG Hood's Communications Director. About the only thing we worked well on together was the Edgar Ray Killen trial.
You know who else called protesters and civil rights organizers "agitators"?
Mississippi segregationist Governor Ross Barnett, in reference to freedom riders, such as John Lewis.

The Radical Left Mayors & Governors of Cities where this crazy violence is taking place have lost control of their “Movement”. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, but the Anarchists & Agitators got carried away and don’t listen anymore - even forced Slow Joe out of basement!
@DickScruggs This opinion is not based in reality and is just another feeble attempt at explaining away Tate's unpopularity within his own ranks. Jim is toting Tate's water. Painful to watch.
OTD 1962, Fannie Lou Hamer led 17 volunteers to register to vote in Indianola, Mississippi. They were blocked by way of a discriminatory literacy test, harassed on their way home, stopped by police and fined. That night, Hamer lost her job for daring to register to use her voice.
Mississippi's statewide voter roll—which includes 19 data points about each voter, e.g.where/when registered, when last voted, etc.—costs $2100 to purchase. Here are the instructions: https://t.co/dchoq3BXPA
“The students are coming in. A few of them came up to the front desk just with their masks on and their stuff in their hands and were like, ‘I’m here to move into isolation. What do I do?’” Fernandez said. “We were never told what to do if someone comes for isolation." 2/X
@jallen1985 @RepZSummers @Megawatts55 By remaining vigilant and requesting a deactivated/purge list monthly, once the scheme is implemented you can better manage reactivating the disenfranchised voters. Much easier to handle a few thousand a month as opposed to 790,000 at one time like we have on our hands in AL.
Don't be caught flat footed on election day because you were caught up in a postcard voter purge scheme.
Check your voter registration regularly. Help family and friends check too.
Here is the link to check it:

When Mississippi's secretary of state Michael Watson said he plans to send postcards to voters this year, @RepZSummers asked whether he intended to purge voters.
Watson answered: "That's a conversation that's ongoing, that we have not finalized yet."
@jallen1985 @RepZSummers @Megawatts55 Same exact scenario is playing out wherever postcard voter purge schemes are implemented. It is the sole reason we created the Vote Alabama Association. To fight back, educate voters, and reactivate those caught up in the scheme. Y'all must remain vigilant about this in MS!!
@rjacobray @RepZSummers @Megawatts55 I hope it is no longer possible for any Mississippi gov't official to "accidentally" purge 10,000+ voters from a personal computer just days before an election, like what happened in Madison County in 2008. https://t.co/LnYuvDyLLa
@MichaelWatsonMS@tdblaylock Lol. Ad hominem attacks? Do you not remember your snarky tweets at me last night? Labeling me a liberal and comparing me to dishonest media?
@MichaelWatsonMS, my brother, this tweet is from 9 minutes ago. You say you talked to LaRose yesterday, but here he is again in his own words and graphics touting "safe and secure" absentee balloting.
We were behind the 8-ball with @JohnHMerrill. Not going to let the same things happen in MS that are happening AL. I'll be right here to call you out every step of the way. Have a great day too, brother.
@RepZSummers @jallen1985 @Megawatts55 The postcard purge is definitely headed to MS. He has seen what @JohnHMerrill did with it in AL, with his 790,000 deactivated voters. Only a matter of time.
@RepZSummers @jallen1985 @Megawatts55 That is correct. But do we know for certain that a purge wasn't initiated prior to the statutory cutoff? He left that dingling out there in his response to your question.
