. @BIXImontreal , pensez-vous vraiment qu'une seule station sur le campus principal de l'UQAM soit suffisante ? Je comprends que c'est l'hiver, mais nous tournons en rond à la recherche d'endroits où les stationner... #velo#Montreal#MTL@MTL_Ville@UQAM
Took @VIA_Rail to #SmithsFalls, call cab & wait inside mini unstaffed station. Cab comes & I go out but there’s a woman waiting, so I let her take it. Turn around to go back into the station but the door has locked automatically with no warning! At 1pm! Why so inconsiderate VIA?
@merschrod Lovely syllabus. I'm also trying to adapt something based on Jan Küster's template, but I'm having trouble getting the timeline to work (to show days and progress downward in time). Is your TeX file available? :-)
🚨 BREAKING: Ontario Premier Doug Ford just canceled Elon Musk’s Starlink contract and banned all U.S. companies from government contracts in response to Trump’s economic war with Canada.
“It’s done, it’s gone,” Ford said. “We won’t award contracts to people who enable and encourage economic attacks on our province and our country.”
And just to be clear: “They only have President Trump to blame.”
So Trump starts a trade war, and now American businesses are getting locked out of Canada. This isn’t “tough negotiating”—this is our closest ally shutting the door on us while Trump pretends he’s “winning.”
MAGA wanted an economic war? Well, they just got one. And it’s American companies and workers who are about to feel the pain.
“I did not want to be pregnant in Texas,” says Dr. Dani Mathisen, who moved from Texas to Hawaii after the loss of her first pregnancy. "I know too much about what can go wrong in a pregnancy to feel comfortable being pregnant in Texas." https://t.co/iYag1MSeh0
Pierre Poilievre’s MPs on the “anti-abortion” speaking tour in the American South.
A Conservative Party of Canada MP travels to Florida, all expenses paid by an anti-abortion church in the United States to give a speech.
Gross. No thanks. Not in Canada.

POWERFUL... 🤌🏼
🟥 Mark Carney: “When politicians (like Pierre Poilievre) claim our great democracies are broken, it's not because they want to FIX them. It's because they want a license to DEMOLISH...
It's a model that has been USED time and time again: Create an external constraint to STARVE the beast of government, in a misguided view that SLASHING will lead to growing...
...When Poilievre shouts 'axe the tax!', he's really whispering, 'can the plan' and leaving us with NOTHING.
Demolition is NOT a plan.” 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
