@candgnews Recruiting people to work underpaid jobs is sad. Unless we can find a means to increase wages for teachers, paras, custodians and substitutes, fewer and fewer will choose these professions.
Fun fact: Nebraska's all-GOP House delegation just voted for the resolution condemning socialism - while they represent the only state whose electricity is 100% provided by socialist, publicly owned power utilities, which have kept electricity prices among the lowest in America, according to the Trump administration’s own Energy Department👇
@hashtagquentinw@JeffMossDSR I agree. IMO it has less to do with Israel and more to do with resources and the west/US maintaining a foothold in the Middle East.
@ben_fergy@JeffMossDSR Long history of bad actions in both sides. There have also been periods of peace where Palestinians worked in Israel and Israelis worked in Palestine.
Blame the terrorist elements that undermine this peace.
@hashtagquentinw@JeffMossDSR AIPAC takes the recent heat but they are not the only one. It is a U.S. based group.
I agree big money should be out of politics. But why all the focus on AIPAC? There are others with deeper pockets and more influence.
@mr_bobbins@JeffMossDSR Jewish people were safe in Germany for decades. Until they were not.
Sadly, antisemitism has been on the rise in the U.S.. Chinese people I. The IS were safe until Covid was blamed on them. Haitians until they were blamed.
@NormalizeH@JeffMossDSR Israel did not start this war. Decades of bus bombs, IEDs, rockets, and October 7th did. Israel has tried many times for peace.
@JudeMo1041@JeffMossDSR Israel has tried for peace several times. Even giving up territory. It has never lasted. Not because of Israel’s actions, but rather those of Hamas and others in the Palestinian territory.
@sandwichandbeer@JeffMossDSR Sounds like a third party vote.
We have supported the preservation of our allies countries for as long as we’ve been a country.
@thisappsuckseh@JeffMossDSR Israel did not start this war. Decades of bus bombs, IEDs, rockets, and October 7th did. Israel has tried many times for peace.
Bari Weiss personally directed this morning’s CBS News headline about Abdul El-Sayed to be tweaked to specifically mention deleted tweets referencing the September 11 terrorist attacks
