My dream for a long time has been to work as an urban planner in themed entertainment. Specifically for @DisneyParks. Today I got accepted into the masters of architecture themed entertainment program @UF. One step closer! #gogators
@AllCentralFla Yeah but it’s not unstandard for the industry. My thoughts are the wear tear might be related to the amount of people they let walk the queue prior to opening during previews. I could be wrong but something I curious about
This is so depressing - wonder if the product from the vendor is at fault or if the wear and tear of all the people they put through it over the last year has worn it down.
Single rider line at Battle at the Ministry is also showing signs of wear and tear. Obviously nothing this bad but i expect it to get the same treatment the exit hall is currently getting at some point
NEW: Disney Cruise Line debuted a new ad titled “Midnight Magic” during the Academy Awards on ABC, and it’s a tearjerker.
The spot follows a father and son sharing a quiet tradition aboard a Disney ship, a ritual that carries their relationship from childhood into adulthood.
Sections of what seems to be parts of the Mayan temple replacing the Dino Institute exterior for Tropical Americas.
Constructing it here while the Institute gets stripped saves time. Disney just has to pick it up once finished and move it into place.
I don’t want to write this. Writing it makes it final. I’ve known since yesterday, but it still doesn’t seem real. I needed to be alone with my thoughts before I could post something publicly. Every time I read another post it seems wrong, like it hasn’t happened, like I’ll still get a text from Adam any moment now. But I won’t, he is gone.
I just talked with him was when he was in Disneyland Paris. We were remembering our time in Disneyland 10 years ago when we saw Dick Van Dyke dancing and singing on the balcony of Club 33 for his 90th birthday. We were making plans for when he got back into town. But now that hang out won’t happen. I miss him.
He was the only friend I’ve had in a long time that made me laugh for hours on end. The type of friend that when you start laughing with each other you fall into them and sort of bounce off each other. I’ve never had that with any other guy friend.
I will always remember this time at Disneyland when we were trying to throw a coin into the cup in the queue for the Snow White ride. Adam made one and shouted “I’m going to live forever!” From then on he would always message me anytime “Forever Young” came on the radio or was playing at some random location he was at.
He really will live forever, because I will never forget him.
I’m really interested in what the long term splitting of the resorts does to the guest experience? Will adding a second gate at this property lead to choosing on property over the other?
The future of the Universal Orlando Resort?
I know Epic Universe has it's capacity faults (and USF/IOA problems), but it feels like internally they might consider a 4th gate sooner than later?
Will be interesting to see how much develops over time.

@JimShull Jim I think this is deeply irresponsible of you and worse I think you know it. You have no idea what happened and can’t know. Don’t try to profit off an awful situation all around. Shame on you.
Baseball is not selling you a sport it is selling you a warm summer night outside. A ballpark is supposed to be a setting for summer
You don't even have to pay attention. You can just take in the atmosphere or walk around. eat. whatever.
if a team has low attendance, it means the stadium is wrong, the neighborhood it sits in is wrong
It's a referendum on placemaking
Couldn’t agree with anything more. Too many people have forgotten that the purpose of a government is to provide for its people - a core reason we overthrew British rule, by the way.
People who are against kids eating meals at the school they are required to be at are the worst people in the world.
People who say "it's not free, it's MY TAXES". Good! Feed kids, build a better community. That's a GREAT use of taxes you selfish asshole!
