All top clubs have built a philosophy over years
Madrid - individual brilliance based counterattacking
Barca - tiki taka
City - pep has built a possession based ideology that should be followed for years
Liverpool had that under Klopp and that’s what they should continuing
@apex1220581@guns29935@Gbemiga__A Fundamentally I agree but yamal is an unrealistic scenario
And it’s a worse loan because if the player fails you are stuck with them and their wages.
And if a player obviously really succeeds the clause will be triggered and a higher price will be put on the players head
@lfc57655@danlfcynwa_ I agree if that’s how we try to play.
But my view is that managers form their style of play and patterns around their players strengths, so at Liverpool while the fundermantals of press and widths and line height might stay the same, with better quality players play differ
@lfc57655@danlfcynwa_ That’s if we play the same eleven every game sure but szobo has proven his usefulness in big games in the 10 for his press. Against weaker teams or more open European teams wirtz in the 10 with natural wingers probably does make more sense.
@TosGooner@Dax_LFC I don’t disagree but people can’t complain about liverpools spending last summer when on avg they have brought it as much revenue over the past 5 years, spent less going multiple windows making a profit overall and sold better.
@sethfowIer Sure they want to grow but they aren’t desperate for it.
They have admitted they could get more views doing 20 min videos with high paced editing.
They just don’t want to make that content when what they currently have is unique on YouTube.
@JoshLFC1909 why are you all desperate for leaks about our club to be correct...
its a good thing journos struggle to get stories right.
If you want leaks go support united
@Max8LFC Why do you want our journalists leaking wants going on in our club…
The fact that journalists struggle to get information is a good thing ffs.
Go support united if you want leaks
@JordanDelurey@JamesPearceLFC@JateenBhana You know we should be happy that something as large as our manager being sacked wasn’t common knowledge being leaked everywhere
It’s weird from people like you who seem to think otherwise
@Bygecko1 I used to think that but then I rewatched the games that happened. Athletico at home as an example.
Our fanbase really overrated our performance in that game, they constantly cut through us and that was an athleti without any pace or starting striker
@Bygecko1 I agree but the balance of the team isn’t as simple as play him more central.
If we play him as an inside forward more we lose width and we have seen him be poor running in behind last season
If we start him in the 10, there is no overall balance with the pivot behind him
@Bygecko1 I specified 1 st half because he was good in the second half so was everyone that day. Gala was terrible.
I don’t understand people that justify wanting to keep a 400k player on sentiment alone when one of our biggest issues revolve around pressing and tracking runners…
