Well, that was an incredibly disappointing interview. Yes, social media platforms algorithms can be harmful but this bill applies to all other websites also. Some websites are simply blocking UK users to ensure their own safety from fines but can be easily circumvented by VPNs.

@bbcbreakfast Can the Technology Secretary Peter Kyle comment on reports that Wiki is threatening to partially block UK IP addresses? Many websites are blocking UK IP addresses because they do not have the resources to implement the age verification systems to avoid fines.

@bbcbreakfast The police do need to get a grip on these e-bikes. Simply go to any fast food outlet in any city centre and they will find dozens of them. These are often ridden by riders that cover their faces and have even been caught on the motorway.

Left land blocked on Guild Way just after the junction with Leyland Rd. Car stopped and object reported in the road. Backed up towards Brown Hare. @blogpreston @leponline

@blogpreston @leponline Lots of sounding horns and traffic frustration in and around Preston this evening as the M6 N remains closed. Liverpool Rd, Guild Way, Leyland Rd (from Holme Rd) and Cop Ln. Queuing across junctions to helping matters.

@HighwaysNWEST Unfortunately, all the alternative routes are now gridlocked in Preston and most of South Ribble. Incidents are happening all too frequently along this stretch of M6 that have profound impacts on the surrounding areas. This needs to be addressed.

If this closure is legit, there will be no access northbound from Marsh Ln due to the one-way system on Brieryfield Rd. Southbound will be via the very narrow and tight one-way on Ingot St. onto Brieryfield Rd. This is a bus route too so requires clarity on this closure please.

Road closure signage up on Wellfield Rd from the Thursday 23rd Jan for 2 days next week. Nothing on roadworks bulletin. A popular rat run to avoid West Strand and the Corporation St. bus gate. I wonder what this is about then @LancashireCC ? @blogpreston @leponline

Four way traffic lights on Leyland Rd at Bee Lane and The Cawley caused significant traffic problems last night travelling from Preston and appears to look to be repeated this morning along knock-on problems on the A582 Penwortham Way @blogpreston @leponline @LancashireCC

@metoffice Happy New Year! Question, why was this storm not named if an amber warning was issued?

@H_H_Gray Removal? Nope, displaced. The traffic has not disappeared but rather moved onto other routes. The Corporation St. bus gate and the pedestrian of Friargate has actually slowed buses as they get stuck in the increased congestion on Ringway towards the bus station.

@benthecarlini @H_H_Gray Plans are afoot to revamp Frairgate South, Orchard St. and Church St. The latter was a casualty of the failed Tithebarn scheme.
