Thank you to the resident that used “fisticuffs” in their H&P note. Your specificity and use of an old tyme word has provided me with my first guffaw of the day! #MedTwitter#Trauma
@ElDuvelle I recall Paul, when explaining to me (as a first yr. who was going to run these rats and collect data while he and Emma were on holiday) saying “we’re calling them splitter cells because...” So I’ll say Paul & Emma, but H. could have been involved there too!
I’ve decided that reading and (trying to) teach myself Bayesian methods on the train makes the time pass much more quickly than disengaging brain and watching something on Netflix or Amazon. Who knew! #dorking#RStats
@MarkZobeck Brilliant! I also love that you point said offenders to Dr. @f2harrell ‘s work as an Rx... Now they’ll ask for teh codez for the p-vals, and how to make the mouse work better.
@JamesMHyman I’m literally doing that right now in response to Reviewer #2. Satisfied their request, but I need to stick it to ‘em with more stats and plots.
