@CTMQ @brendanmahoney@hegaldia Oh yes, that one is terrible too. So is entrance 55 in Milford near Wheelers Farm. Seem like holdovers from half a century ago when there wasn't as much traffic and merging wasn't as much of an issue.
@CTMQ @brendanmahoney@hegaldia You shouldn't need a sub-6 sec 0-60 to get on a highway. That eliminates most non-sport cars under $30k and nearly all pick-ups.
@CTMQ @brendanmahoney@hegaldia Are you talking about the southbound entrance near exit 61? I've known 3 ppl including myself who have rear ended cars there because the person in front of them slammed the gas and immediately pumped the brakes. Plus the ramp puts you at a 45-degree angle to the highway.
@mattderienzo Another wild thing about CT is how different police departments go about traffic stops. The percentage of warnings vs. tickets and types of violations enforced is all over the place.
@mattderienzo CT schools had around 170 different software contracts last year when some states have 1. Apparently no one ever thought to buy one license and save money for everyone until Lamont mentioned it.
@NoahTheGolden @RebeccaTurcoTV@jdeloma Loved that conference and we had a great time talking to Bill and Karin on the ferry ride home. They both gave great advice.
@bychrismarch Operate in shifts at night if possible ie one of you handles baby duties from 9 to 1 and the other from 1 to 7. And sleep when the baby sleeps.
@TheWinkApp Seriously one week notice in the middle of a pandemic that you'll start a subscription fee? I was considering switching to a competitor since my hub is pretty unreliable and now that's happening for sure.
@QUJournalism I've been working remotely for 5+ years, but the new challenge is covering a pandemic between diapers now that my daughter's daycare is closed. #QUalityWork
@evanmlips@Robert_Mills My dad has gotten a med light and sweet hot coffee daily for 30 years from DnD up until this week. Nemo/Sandy didn't even stop him.
@DFANewHaven Largest shoreline, big mall and the Post Road is business after business for miles. Lots of people come to shop because Milford has basically every store.
