@HailDeanThanos @EVT_JClark No. We said no to downtown. We said yes to a new stadium in Mission Valley and the NFL was to contribute 300- 400 mil as well. Spanos said no because he wanted downtown. DT was already deemed impossible. He asked anyway + made it a city only vote. He had no intention of staying

@EVT_JClark It annoys me that people don’t understand that we never voted them out. The city approved a new stadium in MISSION VALLEY with approved aid from the NFL…but Spanos’ dumb ass wanted it in environmentally landlocked downtown and we said no to THAT.

@winged_foot 100%. I spoke up and got forced out of the program. I even spoke out on behalf of other athletes but they all tucked tail & ran when it got real. Had even some say “you totally right but I don’t wanna be on their bad side” 🙄 NOTHING changes if folks just keep letting it happen
