@marcDcafc@ValleyFloydFred Yeah he did + taking responsibility, apologising to supporters, saying it weren’t good enough.
He deserves stick but fuck me so do the players and people above him.
@ValleyFloydFred@marcDcafc I’ve watched 3 interviews he has given. He’s apologised in every single one - I’m not defending him tactically but let’s not play into the boring narrative that he makes it all about him because he doesn’t. Watch the whole interview.
@ValleyFloydFred@marcDcafc Is it? You can knock him all day for his tactical decisions but knowing him as a manager for the last 2 years knocking him for giving a shit I’m not sure I’m having that
🎙️ Chris Wilder on Charlton Athletic
"I really like Charlton Athletic as a football club, I was close to being manager there once and I think it's got a really good feel to it. It's a southern Sheffield United in a way, it's working class, it's tough, the work ethic of the team is good, the manager is excellent and gets his team up for every game. They've built and deservedly got through the playoffs. It's not a League 1 club, it's been in the Championship for a number of years. I had a loan spell there so I know the goings on and the DNA of that football club. They've had a real strong and steady start to life back in the Championship and they're a tough opposition."

On 11th, March 1978, my dad saw Norm in all his Charlton gear. He was going to Tottenham away. My dad was 7, and he told Norm he was jealous that he was going.
Then, after the game, Norman knocked on my dad’s door, and handed him a program from the game.
RIP Norm ❤️ 🗡️ #CAFC
I remember interviewing Norman at last season’s tie at Southend. He spoke of his wish to draw one of the “big boys” in Round Three:
Norm has pulled some strings from the Covered End in the sky giving his fellow Addicks some happier news after the hardest of weekends #cafc
Took this photo of Norman before the play-off final this year, he was the definition of proper Charlton, he’ll be deeply missed at the Valley and at away games, my thoughts are with his family and friends.
RIP to a Charlton legend🕊️❤️

When Charlton Athletic appointed Nathan Jones in February 2024 the club was 20th in League One just one point above the relegation zone 📉
Fast forward to October 2025 and Nathan Jones Charlton side have just beaten Ipswich Town 0-3 to go 5th in the Championship 📈
