@BrandonTucker @RegularDude007 Pretty sure they aren’t designing for photos. Having played a few of these types of courses at Bandon, Gamble, Sagebrush they are all a blast to play and a nice reprieve from the soft, tight 1-dimensional courses that many are used to playing.

@BrandonTucker I don’t really see this as a “style”, it’s a site specific response aimed at maximizing nature, variability in play and fun. As much coverage as these courses get on social media they are still quite rare so I have no complaints having more courses like this.

@DR_2K25 Yep. I’m a lover of natural courses typically but there’s just something so refined and pure about the current state that I think is really striking. Those sharp bunker edges cut into the fairways are very cool even if they are divorced from what Mackenzie envisioned.
