@MTF_Mobility@BlrCityPolice@blrtraffici A tractor parked in the middle of the road loading construction debris in the peak traffic hour. Huge blockage on both sides. The tractor doesn’t have a number plate too :(
Location: Mahadevapura, Meese Muniyappa layout, road joining ORR
@WF_Watcher They are only interested in Mega projects as those are the cash cows. Least bothered about small but necessary improvements that actually benefit citizens 🤷♂️
@karnatakaportf This is true for all the wards in Bangalore. It's becoming depressing to step out. The responsibility lies with BBMP. If people are not cooperating and dumping garbage illegally, setup cameras and enforce huge fines such that they never dare to do it again.
@Tejasvi_Surya Absolutely true. There's a need to make the city public transport friendly.
1. Dedicated lane for buses in ORR. This helps frequent and timely buses running.
2. Mandate to keep the buses washed and clean.
3. Absolutely zero tolerance for traffic violations.
@east_bengaluru Spot on with the issue. But why allow shared auto as there will be circumstances where one person will have to pay the full amount (exorbitant).. can we do it fair and square and mandate meter usage?
@ever_pessimist@HimadyuthiD@WF_Watcher@NammaBengaluroo I also believe every ward should have multistorey managed parking spaces. Maintain it like our metro stations (secure, clean and desirable) and automate as much as you can. This will reduce the street parking nuisance which is a big reason for traffic jams.
@Schandillia 'Indian public places are dirty'is a self fulfilling prophecy. People see litter and throw litter and this vicious cycle repeats.
That's not the case in airports where people don't see garbage dumps and seek out trash cans.
@iAsura_ It's a shame that a country which has been on the progressive path is being pulled behind by such idiotic schemes. It's hard not to be cynical and positive about the future 😞
