he said that shit in ENGLISH. he’s not looking at anybody, so you can’t say its a mistranslation or scripted. he wanted all of us to hear it. take his words as it is. RESPECT HIM. RESPECT THE MEMBERS. it’s so disappointing that you guys are doing this on his birthday too.
We really need to give props where it’s due, this campaign is so well done.
First, the tagline “take me home.” It’s not just a random phrase tied to enhypen collaborating with the brand again after two years, it directly references Jake saying “take me home” during the fan meeting. That adds such a personal and sentimental layer to the whole message.
Second, the aesthetic. Everything feels very warm, homey, and nostalgic. Even the decision to place the 2024 portrait next to the 2026 portrait was perfect, it tells a story of growth, time, and still feeling at home.
And lastly, the most meaningful part is the attire. This ties everything back to the idea of “home” in such a thoughtful way.
The Barong Tagalog is the Philippines’ national formal attire (I’ve learned this today 🥹) , and seeing enhypen wear it is not just styling, it’s cultural appreciation and connection. It shows intention, and it clearly means a lot to Filipino fans.
Regardless, it would have been an amazing campaign, but the timing right now makes it even more meaningful. With everything happening, it almost feels like a reminder of connection, of home, and of the bond between enhypen and the engene that doesn’t just disappear.
Even if circumstances change or paths shift, moments like this show that what they built together still holds weight. It adds a deeper emotional layer to the campaign, whether intentional or not, and that’s what makes it hit even harder.
So thank you @dunkinph 💓
