Banaras Hindu University's press release reads, "In line with its commitment to providing a vibrant and well-knit campus experience for its students, Banaras Hindu University has taken a number of innovative measures. The varsity has come up with yet another initiative in this regard by providing BHU domain email IDs to all its students. The move is aligned with the institution’s continued efforts to promote and facilitate hassle-free and effective communication and intra-institutional interaction among stakeholders.

As part of the measure, all students will now have email accounts with the https://t.co/HpNTVSY48Y domain. Until now, BHU domain email IDs were issued to faculty members, staff members, and PhD scholars on a request basis. This facility is now being formally extended to all students, benefiting approximately 18,000–20,000 students."
