1. Kalu Waterfalls
- The OG of Maharashtra
- Located in Malshej Ghat region approx 3.5-4 hrs drive from Pune
- offers two types of experiences
a) View Point: Can be viewed from a distance by taking the Aadrai trek from Khireshwar village. Guide easily available at the village. Don't miss to take darshan at the Chalukyan Nageshwar temple in Khireshwar.
Good for a family trip .
b) Base experience: The trek to the base of the waterfall. Highly risky as water levels keep changing. Would recommend it only with authorised trek organisers.
Good for adventure seeking responsibly sensible people.

2. Naneghat Reverse Waterfalls
- a blend of history as well and nature
- approx 3-4 hours drive from Pune
- can be covered with Kalu waterfall trip if you have enough time
- Jivdhan fort and the Satvahana era caves in the vicinity
- best experience only if there's good rain

3. Kumbhe Waterfalls
- located near Raigad fort and can be accessed by a thrilling tunnel experience
-3/4 hours drive from Pune
- roads a narrow and careful driving needed
- only see it from the designated view points
- ask locals for help and guidance

4. Varandha waterfalls
- actually and entire ghat with waterfalls rather than specific one
- on the Bhor-Mahad route and many times closed due to landslides
- 4hrs+ drive from Pune
- one can visit Shivtharghal along with this
