Y'all, I'm *so* excited to share this new #digitalwomenleaders site with you. @katiehawk did a tremendous job in leading the redesign & relaunch of https://t.co/xrKDLlw1q8, which helps women and female-identifying journalists with *free* coaching sessions!
There have been *many* great moments at #ona24 so far — but this is probably the best one I’ve yet witnessed. (That’s Finley getting the belly rub after his very kind owner gave us the OK to say hello. ♥️)
@SlackHQ Any advice on how to get my custom Slack theme to stick? Starting this week, every time I have to re-authenticate my credentials, it resets my theme. It's even happening if I log into Slack on a different device. 😭
Unbelievably cool that @industrydive was named one of @FastCompany's "Most Innovative Companies" for 2024 — #2 on the list for media companies. So proud to be part of this team. https://t.co/Rc7gI596Rh
Is it just me, or does anyone else find the aesthetic of New @SlackHQ (in an apparent attempt to look like Teams ... which begs *so* many questions) actually offensive?
Like so many others, I'm devastated to hear about the shuttering of @BuzzFeedNews + layoffs at @BusinessInsider.
Please reach out if I can help in any way — especially if any of these @industrydive gigs is up your alley. https://t.co/wpegfFPInn
🤯!!! "The Gazette-News, which was founded in 1905 and does not have a website, published a QR code on its front page that linked to transcripts and audio clips..." It linked to a Google doc and linked to the audio clips on Dropbox. https://t.co/QoQAtLsUpm
NEW @NBCNews: Twitter hasn't removed verified check marks — except from the @nytimes
The NYT's main account, which has 54.9 million followers and is the 19th most-followed Twitter account, appears to have lost the check mark after refusing to pay for it:

In light of the week I've had, I cannot endorse this any harder. I'd only add: morning AND night would be ideal. Your 30s are coming for you, with a vengeance.
Scoop: @WhiteHouse won’t pay for @Twitter verification
— It will not enroll in Twitter’s “Verification for Organization” program either
— It also won’t reimburse staff who chose to pay for Twitter Blue either

@SuzanneStrug@industrydive @InformaTechHQ There's been no greater colleague, collaborator and advocate of our journalism than you, Suzanne. Such a huge loss for us — and I miss you already! Can't wait to see who's lucky enough to work with you next. ♥️
Raising a glass to all the hands that made Invisibilia. All the creative thoughtful souls who tried for her and cried for her and hopefully - helped some people along the way. https://t.co/6nKqKaWXNq
Why @Twitter is making accounts *less secure* as a kind of account hostage holding in order for users to keep a blue check mark they themselves have now rendered meaningless, I have no idea. Someone explain this to me.
