@b9llach @Comp_RL The main concern here was the possibility of worse than a DOS attack, that's what I've explained. now as far as your IP not being attainable from a game server is not always entirely true. any misconfiguration server side might of caused an exploit where they can be pulled 👍

@b9llach @Comp_RL A basic windows machine is a PC running windows OS, which in this case probably isn't running any venerable attack vectors. e.g Old web server or other service. unless a 0 day is found for core windows components or another game he has installed :)

@Comp_RL They have your public IP address, the same one the server has access to. all anyone can do is ping your IP to see if its up, or DOS you directly which can be a pain but nothing an IP change won't fix, any basic windows machine can't just be "hacked".
