This message is written on behalf of many German and European Xbox creators I’ve spoken with. Under the new Xbox leadership and the New Spirit, we are genuinely hopeful for real change.
However, it is still extremely difficult for us to get game codes, early previews, event invites or just getting noticed. There is no direct contact to local Xbox teams — everything routes through third-party agencies.
This creates endless back-and-forth: agencies refer us to the US Xbox team, the US team sends us back because we’re not American, and eventually the 3rd party agencies reject us with generic excuses that they “can’t help”. Many talented creators have already given up trying to get in contact with Team Xbox.
This loop directly results in significantly less high-quality Xbox-focused content in one of Europe’s biggest markets. If Xbox truly wants to grow in Germany or Europe under this New Spirit, the local creator scene needs proper support: direct communication channels, fair access, and real investment in the region. We believe in the New Spirit and want to create great Xbox content with you. Please help us help Xbox succeed here.
Sorry for the longer post — this is written in close consultation with many European creators. We’re all very aware that most of our channels aren’t as big as US-based ones yet, but that’s exactly the classic chicken-and-egg problem. Many of us also know Xbox would prefer content in local languages, but gaming connects people across Europe and the world — which is why so many European creators run their channels in English. Having a Europe based channel in English should not be a reason to prevent contact with the local Xbox team.

@Valvados Wie cool, dass dein PC Game da so flexibel war und du es fixen konntest. Eine Playstation bzw. Konsole hätte gar nicht erst Ultra Wide supported und wär bei 16:9 hängen geblieben.

@exQUIZitely Played a lot of bmh and bmp 🙂. Also of course Anstoss 1&2, but never Starbyte Super Soccer. I am also not ashamed to say, that I played a lot of Ran Trainer 🙈 crappy game, but as a kid, I was impressed by the Ran License 😅

@geoffkeighley It can do everything the “old” Xbox does. It has a Store, you game library, messaging, achievements, a friends list and can play all the old games. We call the xsx a console, right? Why is this framed as “pc based”, when you have the same features but more (pc games)?

Die XSX ist eine gute Konsole, ist aber nun "alt". Eine neue Konsole bietet neue Marketing- und Differenzierungsmöglichkeiten - etwas was die XSX nie hatte.

@JamieMoranUK Generations is underrated. It had a very good plot with characters, we learned to love, nice action scenes and unfortunately the end of the NCC 170-D :(

The "Inside the Nexus" part was maybe a bit too long, but in any way: it's an amazing Star Trek Movie.

A) Quit the running Game. Full download speed is only available when there is not an actively running game.

B) Try reconnecting the cable. Sometimes my Xbox connects only with 100mbit/s.

@JezCorden This might shock your English heart and your “acquired south German side” might not comprehend this, but in Ostfriesland in Germany, there is a strong tea culture and a higher tea consumption in average than in Britain. Im fact we have the highest tea consumption in the world
