@globeandmail Let me see if I get the gist of this. A large part of the current debt exists because this government funded people, both inside and out of country who have never contributed anything (some never will); but sure... let's penalize those who have. Am I missing anything?
@Judgymcjudge2@AntonioTweets2 Massive voting block? It's roughly a quarter of voters & they show up to vote. How about the younger voting block showing up & voting with their wallets. You've had plenty of opportunity since 2015. This boomer would relish a blue government.
@TrueNorthStr0ng@MarcNixon24 I'm more mad at our 'leaders' than Trump... for doing nothing to get our house in order knowing he's been around since 2015.
@nationalpost So now Carney announces an economic committee to deal with U.S. economic relations. Hasn't he been saying up to now he's the only one who can get deals done.
@globalnews Yippee. 15 years of empty promises, nothing built, out of control spending, massive debt, economic despair, curtailed freedom of speech and woke policy.
@nationalpost All you floor crossers and the government who courted and accepted them... what gives you the right to nullify my vote or that of any other citizen?
@CanadaNoFuture@RMC19861987 The numbers don't align. Yes seniors vote red. My point going back to 2015, seniors were 16% of population. You can't be arguing they gave Justin his majority or kept him in power. Fast forward 10 years it's 19.5 %. That leaves 65% 18-64's. So tell me again who holds sway.
@jonassiegel Forget the hit and lack of immediate reaction. That 3rd period was played with more passion than we've seen from them all season. Even wuss Willy was in on the action. Wouldn't be surprised if they ripped off an extended win streak. Only question is is it too little too late.
@BNNBloomberg You mean price gouging. When there's trouble in the oil world prices go up the next day. When prices drop you have to wait months for the decrease to work its way through the system.
@griff12309@CTVToronto@maureensmith232 Or... kill the gravy train (all benefits and financial supports) and they'll leave on their own to look for the next free ride.
@Can_Libertarian@nationalpost Paragraph 1... current affairs. We were born in the 40's & 50's. Paragraph 2... you're still ignoring the math. 70+% of the votes are outside our demographic. And I (and I know others) have not voted red, orange or green since the 70's. Not ingenious here.
@Can_Libertarian@nationalpost When I say wallet I'm talking about voting based on financial policies versus feel good stuff. We may have fatter wallets, which we worked for but still have only 1 vote & let's remember at 22% off the population in 2015 it wasn't us that gave the drama teacher his majority.
@Can_Libertarian@nationalpost You need to do more math. Yes most of my wacko boomer brethren vote liberal but... we represent only 30% of the population and how many are infirm. Also, we show up to vote. You have the numbers. All you have to is show up and vote with your wallet.
