To join, your child should create a sign that says, “I Accept the 50 Yard Challenge.” . Then, they’ll mow 50 lawns for free for the elderly, disabled, single parents, veterans, first responders, and active duty military in their community. For every 10 lawns mowed, they earn a new colored shirt, starting with white and progressing through orange, green, blue, red, until they reach 50 lawns and earn a black shirt .

Once they complete 50 lawns, they receive a brand-new mower, weed eater, and blower. The 50 Yard Challenge is available throughout the year and is not just limited to mowing lawns; it includes snow shoveling and leaf raking as well. Kids from all over the world are welcome to participate.

With every 10 lawns mowed, they'll receive a new colored shirt as a badge of their progress—orange for 10, green for 20, blue for 30, red for 40, and a distinguished black shirt upon reaching 50. Achieving this milestone means I'll deliver a brand new mower, weed eater, and blower to them—no matter where they are in the U.S., or if international, I'll fly to them.

And there's more—the challenge encompasses raking leaves and snow shoveling. This is a chance for your children to make a real difference, one lawn/drive way at a time.

Thomas joined our 50 Yard Challenge in 2022 and successfully completed it by 2023. His journey began when his mother shared that initially, while in Africa they couldn't participate. However, their move to the USA for 7-8 months, living with his grandparents in Pennsylvania, provided Thomas the opportunity he'd been longing for. He vividly remembered our challenge and was eager to participate. Upon arriving in the USA, he registered in August 2022 and achieved his goal by January 2023. Shortly after, he returned to Africa with his family.
