@XiMeNaKa I mean, you used the word “seemingly” so I would need to know more? From first hand experience I can confirm that public consultations that look good are often designed to produce a pre-determined outcome.
So much of that shame and stigma around the menopause transition is impossible to detangle from sexism and ageism, in a world that is unforgiving to anyone who is not a white, able-bodied and affluent cisgender heterosexual man.

@77MRB Yes. On the whole I agree with you. PR was part of the abndp policies for a long time, but abandoned it in 2015, because it no longer served. Same as Federal Liberals.
My question for all #abndp leadership candidates is: how are you planning on making democracy real? What’s your policy on vote whipping? How will you make the #ableg less toxic?
Furthermore, many independent schools include faith-based instruction, whereby diverse communities in our province can teach their children their language, culture, customs and faith. I call on all NDP MLAs to make their position on charter and independent schools clear.
