Enthusiastically welcome Dr Sarah Mullaly as the new Archbishop of Canterbury. Very qualified for the role and makes the 10 years of battles on the General Synod to approve Women Bishops worth it.
He was also a deeply religious, principled man. Very pleased that it will be President Biden who presides over the State funeral. The Camp David Accords of 1978 and the Panama Canal Treaties were amongst his greatest achievements.
Very sad to hear about the passing of President Jimmy Carter. He was a great hero of mine and a key figure from my childhood. He may not have been the greatest President, but he was certainly the greatest Former President and fully deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.
So sad to hear of the passing of Sven Goran Erickson a man who managed England to one of their greatest ever victories in Munchen in Sept 2001. He brought great pleasure. Prayers for his family.
