@MrCJ248 @_Reading_Rocks_ @PrimaryRocks1 Yes! We looked a lot at the characters and in the end wrote a few stanzas based on the Tim the ostler’s point of view. They absolutely loved this unit of work and did really well with it.

We’ve been fortunate enough to acquire a foyles grant for our library and now have the best job -ordering new books! I wondered if anyone had a list of recommended book? I have been looking at @MrEPrimary website there are so many! Does anyone have such a list? @_Reading_Rocks_

@Teacherglitter Agreed! As the mother of a Y6 pupil who is, and has always been, reluctant to write I cannot see the logic. He feels he will never reach the magical ‘50 points’ needed to get a license and is worried he’ll be the last in the class to get one.

@chocaholic132 @FakeHeadteacher I did this! I’ve always said that I’m part time but I work 100% of a part time job and not 50% of a full time job if you see what I mean? My old head didn’t like part timers and I left. My new school is much better. Good luck!
