tidak hanya faunanyaa, flora Kalimantan juga identik dengan kekayuann yang maha dahsyat mahal dan kredibilitasnyaa di dunia perfume; belum lagi beberapa bunga yang endemik dan statusnyaa sudah mengkhawatirkan.

Diantaranya:

- Anggrek Hitam (Coelogyne pandurata).
Flora maskot Kalimantan Timur ini hidup secara epifit atau nempel dii pohon-pohon besar di hutan dataran rendah. Karhutla enih langsung menghanguskan pohon inang skaligus membakar habis populasi anggrek ini di habitat aslinya. Tau gak bahkan sampe ada film Anaconda, asal muasalnyaa mencari tanaman enih 💮

- Kantong Semar (Nepenthes spp.).
Kalimantan enih pusatnyaa keanekaragaman kantong semar dunia, trmasuk spesies langka sperti Nepenthes rajah. Banyak dari spesies ini tumbuh di lahan gambut.

- Pohon Kayu Ulin (Eusideroxylon zwageri)
Dikenal sebagai "kayu besi" khas Kalimantan. Pertumbuhan pohon ini sangat super duper lambat (mmbutuhkan waktu puluhan hingga ratusan tahun untuk dewasa).

- Pohon Tengkawang (Shorea stenoptera)
Pohon penghasil minyak tengkawang ini mrupakan flora endemik bernilai ekonomi tinggi bagi masyarakat adat.

- Pohon Ramin (Gonystylus bancanus)
Tumbuhan paludikultur khas ekosistem rawa gambut.

- Pohon Resak (Vatica spp.)
Spesies endemik riparian (tepi sungai) seperti Vatica rynchocarpa, Vatica havilandii, dan Vatica cauliflora kini berstatus kritis terancam punah (Critically Endangered).
