The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is back for 2026!🚜

DEFRA has allocated £50 million to support investments in productivity, slurry management and animal health & welfare!

💷 Grants range from £1,000–£25,000 per theme across over 290 eligible items
⏰ Opening on 17th March, farmers will only have six weeks to apply
🔔 This is the final standalone round before schemes are reshaped in 2027

📣 SFI 2026 news just in from the NFU conference! 📣

🌼 £100,000 annual cap per agreement with one agreement per farm business
🍃 Environmental actions will be streamlined from 102 to 71 in 2026. Full details on this will be released later
📉 Some actions taking land out of production will have a decreased payment rate
✅ Small Farms have been confirmed as 3-50ha for the June application window
📆 Budgets will be set for the June and September windows
💷 Funding has been pledged for the Farming Innovation Programme, Capital Grant Scheme (opening in July) and the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund
